Ever really dislike your boss? Yeah, many people do and it's the #1 reason people look for a new job. i3 was recruiting heavily and needed to stand out. We created this game as a way to capture the attention of those folks who really were sick of their bosses. At the end of the game, a message offered a link to check out available jobs at i3. (Developer/Flash: Ben Shuler)
"Einstein Me" was an app I concepted and executed especially for Celsis, a biotech company. I created a tagline for their Dairy Rapid Micro Detection Division that went hand in hand with the app:  "Smart looks good on you."
The Cincinnati Museum had an annual Halloween event. I got to work on the promotion of it by naming it Shocktober, creating a fun interactive microsite and a game. I wrote all the "fake" news articles and we really milked it as a real happening. Your cursor attached to a skeleton arm for the game. We built in "easter eggs" on the site that might howl if you rolled over something or turn into a monstrous face. Lights would flicker and bugs would randomly run across the page you were on. It was done as probono. (Developer/Flash: Ben Shuler)
For the game, you had to match oddities on the cards at which point the matched set would disappear. People spent on average of 30 minutes on the site. Exactly what we wanted--to keep people engaged.
